In 2026, Fitzgerald Insurances’ commercial lines will be adopting the Gallagher name. All personal lines will rebrand to GMIB.ie.

By joining Gallagher, we’re expanding our capabilities, tools and market reach — so we can offer you even more specialised solutions, insights and opportunities.

 

Gallagher first launched in Ireland in 2022 through the acquisition of INNOVU and has expanded through further M&A and organic growth and offers a range of personal and commercial insurance products. Today Gallagher is one of the largest insurance brokers in Ireland, with a team of nearly 600 colleagues supporting clients throughout its office network including Dublin, Limerick, Kilkenny, Wexford, Kerry, Cork, Clare, Louth, Monaghan, Meath and Cavan. Our experienced specialists will continue to work with you to help identify the risks you face and deliver solutions.

What happens next?

  • You’ll receive a letter nearer the time explaining what this means for you.

  • Your day-to-day contacts and team remain in place and available to support you with all your insurance needs.

  • There will be no impact on your existing coverage in place.

  • Document branding will change (from rebrand) at the next business event.
